Im wanting to get this burner .Its $88.00 at Wal-mart.
I dont see a modle #, Here is a link if it helps.Thanks for your input.

Is the model number 1633s?
I don't own one of these yet, but I can tell u this much...PC World.Com rated this drive #2 overall in their list of top 10 DVD Burners (pretty good), and every LiteOn product I've owned has been rock solid. I ordered one of these yesterday from Newegg.com for $59.99 and that includes software. Please don't pay that Wal-Mart price!

I checked the Wal-Mart link....it appears to be the same drive I ordered.....Dual layer, 16X etc. - exaaact same specs.

I can't really say since I don't actually have the drive yet, however any good quality media should work just fine. Based on what I've heard from some other members, I ordered a 50 pack of Ridata DVD+R's . I think these will be fine. (I hope)
