I have kazaa lite on my computer, and there is no charge for its use. I have had this for 2 years.
Now my friend asked me to put it on her computer, and I cannot for the life of me find Kazaa for free!
Why can I get it all for free, but now I can't for her?

I haven't used kazaa in a while. If you end up not being able to find it, give limewire a try. That's the one I've been using. No adware or spyware.

I also use limewire and I love it. I had issues installing the the new version but came to find out my firewall was putting the brakes on the installation, so I had to disable the firewall to install...just a FYI

limewire is full of corrupet files and spyware I would use bearshare or shareaza they are the fastest. takes me 10s to download music.

philipman, where are you getting this information from? Limewire has never installed any adware/spyware that could be picked up by either Lavasoft's ad-aware or Spybot.
Kazaa is the one full of that stuff.

No shit! Where did you hear this -philipman- that limewire is full of corrupet files and spyware.
Not every P2P is free from spyware and viruses but you should scan the files before even opening them.

I also have it on my computer. Is there a way that I could put it on a cd or dvd and install on friends computer.
Hate to admit to this, but I have no idea how to do it if it can be done.

You could download limewire and get kazaa lite off of there. I just did a search and there's a bunch of versions available

What do you mean ...on my network? Are you able to see the file? if so right click on the installer an hit copy, then paste it to your desktop

Kazaa is fast but bundled with spyware that will bog down your PC.
Get an old version and use Diet K (do a google search) www.dietk.com
If you paid for Kazaa Lite, then you gave away your money foolishly.
Limewire is spyware free, but its network does tend to have virulent files, but genarally only the EXE fiels.... but this is the same with Kazaa too.
Limewire is ok for speed... Maybe give bittorrent a try. Its about 100 times faster that Kazaa or Limewire, but the selection isn't there yet... too many newbs are scared or PC illiterate to use BT.
