I have recently purchased the Daewoo DQR-1000D Dvd Recorder.
But im having trouble finding a region hack for it so i can play region 1 dvds.
Your help would be much appreciated.

Does anyone know if there is a firmware update for this machine so you can also record on dvd-r's?

Multiregion player Instruction and codes:

1. Push "DVD" button on the remote with "No disc" status
2. Push 'Play' button on the remote
3. Put '159 2520 48230 255'
4. Push "play" button twice on the remote

I done that when i bought it from scan but it wont work, i even contacted scan to get answers but they have never come back to me with any reply.
