Hello. Ive had the swapmagic 2.0 disc for about a year now, and have had no problems backing up my purchased games. Now Im at a stump and cant back up the 2 previously games ive purchased. Leisure suit Larry & Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. As I find these dvd games are so sensitive, I feel I have the right to back up my purhased games. Ive been reading the threads and think that its dvd+r discs I need to use to burn these games. Ive always used dvd-r. Here is the following software I use.

Nero 6
BlindWrite
AnyDvd
Alcohol 120%
and for some reason I cant get CloneDvd to work.

Hello. Im using oem dvd-r 4X. I tried to burn both games with DVD Decrypter at 2x with dvd-r 4x and still didnt turn out. Ive just bought dvd+r 4x and will try to burn at 2x. It does burn the gta game but the audio is very choppy and it stays still at the opening scene. Thats probably due to poor disc quality and or burning too fast. I will try with sony dvd+r 4x and burn at 2x with DVD Decrypter. Thanks so far for you help.

I have backed up both of the games you talked about of Verbatim 4X. They were ripped at 2 X and written at 1X and so far no problems.

As as 2 weeks ago I run EVERYTHING from a harddrive, so the problems will not be as bad for me anymore.
