I have just started downloading games off the net, I have finally sorted how to extract the iso files. I have now burnt 2 discs gt4 prologue and fifa 05 and both boot ok with swapmagic cd but wont load past sony screen at the start. Any ideas?

use swap magic dvd
with dvd loader.

The files will only burn to a cd!! Used Nero to burn .bin and .cue files.

They must be dvd-rips then.
You will have too boot them as such.

They wont boot as DVD because they are on cd!!! ave to use seperate disc for cd or dvd with swap magic. Cant burn them to DVD because software asks for CDR wont accept DVDR for burn. Using Nero and Alcohol 120% both the same.

They are dvd-rips you will need to use cd-loader
Depending on your ps2 version

sounds promising! What is cd loader though? A program to use instead of swapmagic or a utility to use when burning discs? Sorry if this sounds dense as swapmagic works will all other backups I have except downloads.

cd loader is used with swap magic for certain games.
The games you have downloaded are not FULL GAMES they
are dvd-rips.(meaning they have some content remobved to fit
on a normal cd-r).
Because you have dvd-rips you have to use cd-loader AFTER swap magic but before yourr backup.

Possible a step by step guide anywhere? I have followed links to the site for patches but there are non listed for the games I am having trouble with, Gran Turismo 4 prologue and FIFA 05. Could it be media I ma using? Data safe cdr and pioneer 108. Think I saw something about compatibility issues?

flip top and swap magic dont work with dvd rips, u have to have a mod chip
