I have a Sony Digital camcorder PC100. I had this for a long time and accumulated much home vido of my kids on mini cassette. Now I want to transfer all of them to my HDD and also a DVD backup copy.
When I am using firewire to transfer, I cannot get it to play from HDD using PowerDVD. Yet if I record to a DVD disk, it plays on a normal DVD player.

Anyone knows what the problem is. I just get an error message from PowerDVD saying it an unknow Format.
