LiteOn LVW-5005 vs. LVW-5045 for titling & quality

Hi folks

My interest in a DVD recorder is for quickly producing DVDs via Firewire input ie. out of NLE suite or camera.

I am particularly interested in the LiteOn units because of their ability to output to many formats incl VCD & SVCD (I have clients requesting these formats).

Until now I have been producing DVDs, VCDs using s/w tools for MPEG1/MPEG2 creation and authoring.

My questions to the learned forum regard:

(1) the ability to produce decent, accurate titles and chapters. Is there any difference in this capability between LVW-5005 vs. LVW-5045?

(2) Do the units allow you to "upload" any titling graphics?

(3) Is there any difference in quality of final product (especially video in terms of resolution, movement handling and artifacts, etc) between LVW-5005 vs. LVW-5045. How does this DVD quality compare to other DVD recorders especially "first tier" manufacturers such as Sony, Panasonic, etc? Any other recommendations? BTW I will only be using 1hr SP setting for max quality.

(4) As I dont require to record off TV broadcasts, do I have any advantage in purchasing the LVW-5045 with HDD over the LVW-5005 ?

(5) The user reviews on this site seem to indicate that the LVW-5005 is good quality and stable while the LVW-5045 is quite "buggy". Is this a fair reflection of the situation?
