Problem with Slide Magic CD loader..

Hi everyone, I have a Swap Magic V 2.0 kit and I'm having some problems with the CD loader, the problem is it only works like 1 in 4 or 5 times it's really bugging me, while the DVD loader works straight away even tho I use it MUCH more. Does anyone else need to try the CD loader a number of times before it actually works? Thanx.

yea man i have the 3.0 swap magic and it gives me trouble but i found a new way to boot it up use the dvd swap magic disc then get dvd loader from swapmagicfix.com and load that up and push eject and put a psx disc in then put your cd base game works everytime lot less hassle.hope that helps

Wait, by saying "use the dvd swap mahic disc then get DVD loader" do u mean I should get the CD Loader? I mean whats the point of a DVD loader when mine works just fine? And also, incase I was right about u making a typo, I need to burn the CD Loader on a DVD right? Thanks for the help :)

you dont need a cdloader because the dvd loader will do it for you.the only req is dvd swap magic,dvd loader,and psx game thats it.the psx game will make it where you can boot up cd base games.but if you doing dvds well its the other way around.

So the dvd loader will load CD's?? and by PSX u do mean PS1 right? There are some CD based games on PS2 like Tekken Tag and UT by the way, and also what do u mean by "the psx game will make it where u can boot up cd base games"? Sorry if I'm being a pain I just dont understand anything now :(

when you eject the ps1 game it will show in the bottom of the corner psx cd then you put your back-up in it should start up.yea dvd loader will load them you just gotta push eject to make the dvd to stop spining then you swap with ps1 game then push eject again then when it shows psx cd you put the cd base game in you wanting to boot up.theres no need for swap magic cd anymore.i will be up for a while if you need more help reply back and i will help you the best i can.

the ps1 game will take the place of swap magic cd what i mean by that is that you can use the ps1 game instead of swap magic cd from now on

So, is this what I need to do?
1. Download DVD loader from swapmagicfix.com and burn it (on a CD or DVD)?
2. Put Swap Magic DVD Disk in PS2
3. Wait for insert disc screen then swipe the card and put in the DVD Loader Disk
4. Wait for it to load up then push eject and insert a PS1 game (original)
5. Wait for PSX to appear then eject and put in CD based game.
Is this all right? Please tell me if I missed something out, and tell me if the DVD Loader should be burnt on a DVD or a CD. Sorry again for being such a pain :D

dvd loader has to be burnt on a dvd and you do have all the steps right

Ok, thank you :D I've tried to activate my account with ps2ownz.com but unfortunately its not letting me (I'm pretty sure it's been 5 days because I was able to view forums last night but today it's not letting me log in, then i checked the email address i used and it had activation mail which I didnt do.. Anyway I sent them a complaint and hopefully they will respond soon so I can try that out :)
