I have a NEC 3500, and I recently picked up a couple Ritek dual layer discs for those long movies that I don't want to compress 60% to fit onto a single layered DVD.

I can rip the files fine, but when the write process begins it fails immediately. This happens with DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, ImgTool, and Nero. I am using the latest version of everything.

I am wondering if anyone has had a similar problem. I know the NEC 3500 is a very popular drive, so I am sure I am not the only one who has run into this problem.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
