you have to have a modchip or fliptop and swap magic

i am curious about this too. i have a ps2 that won't read cd's (disc read error). dvd originals and dvd backups play fine (using swap magic and fliptop). so my question is can i burn a cd based game to a dvd and will it work? what software would i use to convert cd image to iso? anyone doing this?

No there are certain files on the disc telling ps2 that it is a DVD/CD so if you put it onto a DVD, it would sort of get confused and it wouldn't work. I think it may be a problem with your cd(s), but then it should work with some cds, do you get the red screen of death or does it freeze or what?
