Dose anybody know how to turn off the a soundblaster compatable chip's 'Automatic Gain Control' (AGC). When recording from the microphone into the computer, and there are are periods of quiet, the input volume goes way up. Where there should be silence on the recording, I hear loud backgrounnd static because the AGC has cranked up the volume.
