I have had more trouble with the picture on this unit than I care to mention. I purchashed one before Christmas at Best Buy for $200 and I know the Customer Support number by heart. That is bad. Tonight, it goes back to Philips in Louisville for hopefully a fix or new unit. The picture is poorer than my older DVD WITHOUT progressive scan from 5 years ago! I get waves and when watching letterbox, the black bars are broken up into two lighter blacks. Really wierd. My connection is to a Sony Trinitron Wega and I am using S-video but I really do believe it is the unit. Anyone else have issues like this or suggestions on trouble-shooting?
