I would HIGHLY reccomend to anyone using e-mule to use the e-mule plus version...1n. This goes to new users or old. It works so much better,is more reliable and faster than the original version. I have successfully downloaded dozens of movies using this.

http://emuleplus.info/

Download it today...you'll be glad you did!

Della:

You seem to be the one around here. I loved the old Kazaa. Unlimited downloads, unlimited searches. This new one is pissing me off. Yes I am an idiot newbie that actually paid for it in some pathetic attempt to say to my kids, I paid for it so it is not really illegal. Any way in one of the posts on this thread you mentioned

Get kazaa lite (kazaa without spyware, adware, stealware & restriction!) then crack it with K++ to get a supreme being (1000) participation level http://www.geocities.com/rndkpp/

When I go to that site there are 2 downloads. The first one put something in my registry but didn't change anything. The second one says

If you don't understand x86 assembler, then close your web browser now.

Which I don't so I ran. I would really like the crack. Could you please explain this to me.

Thank you.

One more thing, I just realized that I am an idiot. I actually bought and paid for Kazaa Plus. It sucks!!! I should have got kazaa lite. I don't want to pay more money for it. Is there somewhere I can grab it from that it won't cost me.

So much for setting a good example for the kids.

Thanks

Face it...eMule sucks! Funny how the uploads never fail. The uploads are always maxed out. And there is nothing you can do about it. Just keep your computer on.... yada, yada, yada. Who turns their computer off. Whoever runs the eMule.project has a direct leech to my veins. They take files and leave me with movies that are 85-98 percent finished. I have 10 movies in that catagory. At least Paramount, Sony and company have not been on my case lately. Still, if I could beat the hell out of eMule I would. Got that off my chest. One shot, one kill.

posts of Mal2003 on 27 February 2003 till 1 March 2003.

I am having exactly the same problems with Mal. My ISP is AOL and i am a dedicated user of emule. I was using it for over than 6 months with aol as ISP with no problem. But the last month unexpected disconnections from AOL have begun and once I'm disconnected, if I start AOL again, AOL will run fine until I connect to emule. I don't get disconnected until emule acttually starts downloading files.

What should i do? What Mal2003 did and he is ".. downloading for days!"

Dela, Mal or anybody with an advice that will start emule working again will make me happy.

Thanks in advance.

Just an addition to his if you use emule I highly advise you to release over a 1000 items as this gets you very high up in the queue rankings and thus giving you far better download speeds, you can do this by;

First I suggest you get yourself a NES rom pack off P2P as these usually have over 1000 items in,
go to options in emule,
directories,
now double click on X drive but don't tick X drive unless you want everyone having access to every item in your X drive (where X is the letter replace with whatever drive you see fit,
now simply tick all folders that you want to share,
the contents in the folders won't be visible to you as of yet,
When you have ticked all folders that you want to share click apply then OK,
Next go to shared files and at the top left you will see the shared files amount increasing and the hashing decreasing,
once this is finished do 'Ctrl' and A where all your files are visible in the right hand column,
right click select priority upload and then click release, now within an hour your queue ratings should be 1000's of places better off.
