I have tried 3 times to back up my new POTO 2 cd set. I keep getting either skips or Rice Krispies (snap, crackle, pop). I use Nero StartSmart and do a complete cd copy. I have also tried copying by tracks. The CD-R's that I am using are Prime Peripherals 80min/700mb. Nero says it is copy protected but it copies it anyway. It just has bad quality. Any ideas?

your CD is copy protected (like Nero suggests). Here's the thread on how to rip copy guarded CDs:

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
