I have windows XP Pro SP2, connecting via USB dongle. I have MPT v 3.19... used v1.23 and did 2.23 update and did live update afterwards to 3.19
I tried to use p2k drivers; however, MPT and win xp sp2 dont like to recognize the drivers for some reason.
Are there specific services that need to be enabled or disabled for the phone to connect more successfully?
Is there a specific port the phone should be using?
Is there an alternate route in installing MPT.. ie. to another directory... (someone said they installed to c:\windows\system32 directory and it worked)

Anyone that can help I would greatly appreciate the assistance, I can get the phone to recognize every now and then; however, upon trying a transfer of a picture or mp3 (both relatively small files approx. 60k each) the connect timeouts/drops to my phone and I have to fiddle around with closing and reopening MPT as well as turning on and off the phone.
