what is a good site to get a good free program that actually works? i tried 2 rippers but they didnt rip the audio to mp3

HAve you tried TMPGEnc from www.pegasys-inc.com
or:- mpg2vcd www.womble.com
You could try: www.gromada.com and look at their VideoMach program
Why not play the film,music etc and automatically, in real time, convert it to the music format you need, ie, mp3, monkey, etc
Try: HardDiskOgg from:- www.fridgesoft.de
