I am looking for a good convertor that will convert from mp3 to wav and vice versa. Is there any freeware programs out there that can do this? Thanks

Yes.
This is FREE and will read whatever you are playing,
CD, DVD, VCD, Music and so on, all depending on what
converters you have installed, lame, monkey, windows etc.
It's called:- HardDiskOgg
Get it here:- www.fridgesoft.de
If producing MP3, get Lame:- lame.sourceforge.net

you can download cdex 1.51. it is an awesome cd ripper and converter. it supports lots of encoders but the best is lame.

Jet Audio is FREE -- has an excellent converter .. that will do batch conversion !

Check out dBpowerAMP (dMC) its the last audio file converter you will ever need and its free!
