hi guyz.....i knw thread's of this topic has been started a zillion times,but i havent found any help from them,would be grateful if any of you guyz could help me out!!!

i have an Aopen 16XDVD-ROM/AMH.problem is it dosent read dvd's,juz dosent ready any format of DVD's,plus windows detects it as a cdrom...so i dunno if the problem is coz of that.i have all these dvd playing software's windvd,powerdvd,etc....but to no avail!can u guyz help me out plz...!!!

Isf, What version of Windows OS are are you running?? Can you tell us a little bit about your system config, OS sfw, hdw? Bios? Also, how do you have this puppy cabled up and what are the jumper settings on the biatch??
