Please explain, what are PI &PIF errors?

After finding some of my old burns were bad even though DVD Shrink said they were successful, I got DVD Info Pro. Can someone explain in simple terms what PI & PIF errors mean and what are acceptable amounts? Thanks! :-)

it mainly uses kprobe, but it is very similar and same concept. just different program
