DVD Decryptor error

cant copy dvds to harddrive. when using dvd decryptor in file mode i get an error message. i either get a "servo error" or a "cant find TOC" error message when the original dvd is in the dvd drive. DVD decryptor has worked for me in the past and I have successfully backed up a copy of a dvd to a dvd-r disc. anyone know what could be causing this?

I may be mistaken but I think that servo error is pointing towards a possible drive problem.

it does not complete....it stops after i get the "focus servo error" message or the "cant find TOC" message.
