Ok my gf got this movie and watched it and wanted a copy of it. Went to rip it and was unable to rip either on the full or wide screen version since its a double sided disk. I have tried using DVD Shrink, DVD Decryptor, Super DVD Copy, and only SDC has gotten it ripped but one of the vob files that contains part of the movie says its bad data when tring to open in it in Shink. Any other ideas i could try to rip it with.

Raise Your Voice ... w/ Hilary Duff lol :)

Anyhow, I backed up this movie. I ripped with DVD Decrypter first then ran it through Nero's Recode 2.

And the full version side is only 3.96GBs ... no need to compress. DVD Decrytper only needed :)

The WS w/ special features is the side that needs to be compressed (this side I used Recode)

I just baked it up no prob with shrink and Nero. Nothing special, should of worked without a hitch for you. One thing many many people take for granted is the cleanliness of a DVD. Make sure that the DVD is clean and buff it out the best you can. Even the slightest mar will affect the ripping process. Try again with shrink and burn with decrypter. Good luck.

IIRC the title has structural copy protection. You have to use the newest version of DVD Decrypter or AnyDVD.

I rented it and couldnt play it all the way through on the widescreen side. I cleaned it and could see speckles on the outer edges. I wonder if they just didnt give a damn when they pressed them. Fullscreen side worked fine.

I had problems with the W/S side of the disc at first. I had to flash my Sony burner with the latest firmware. After that Decrypter worked perfectly.
