how do i put movies on to CD's from my hard drive and make them so i canwatch them on a DVD player or PS2

You can't watch a burnt movie on the PS2, PS2 only supports DVD, Audio CDs burnt or retail, PSX & PS2 games. As far as for watching a movie on a standalone DVD player you can burn a vcd, svcd, or dvd. Just a matter of encoding.
