Hello
Just wondering what DVD-R you recommending for backing up PS2 games. I have brought some ANC DVD-R made with Ritek GO5 dye. However the lowest these disks can be burned at is x4. 2 out of 5 DVD back ups have worked and the 2 which work take ages to load. Is their any way of force burning at x1? If not can you suggest which DVD-R are the best for backing up games? I have 1 perfect copy DVD which is a Panasonic DVD-R R4.7 which burns at 4x. However i can't seem to find any more on the net.

Probably something wrong with your discs. I had Sony 8X discs which were horrible. They worked on 2 out of 5 games. I switched to Maxell 8x media and they work great, flawless, I have no regrets/complaints. A great program to backup PS2 games is DVD Decrypter. It's free and in the AD download section.
