what gives man? I wann burn some anime episodes so i converted them to mpeg-2. In the beggining they were .avi and were around 60mb each. Now when I converted to mpeg-2 it got to about over 200mb! And THEN when Iconverted it to .vob it went to around 1 GIG! are you crazy! How in the heck did it get from 60mb to 1 gig? I used neoDVD standard. Should I use something else or is it supposed to be that big? Cause if it is then that means that I will only be able to put 4 or 5 episodes on a DVD-R. By the way i'm trying to play the DVDs in my PS2. Somebody help!

YES use TMEGENC
get it free at (tmpgenc.com or tmpegenc.com most likely the first one)

Then get the .avi file and put it into the video thing and the audio will be automatic for avi files then click load and select what you want ( VCD NTSF, PAL, FILM or DVD NTSF, PAL , FILM) then click start and it will convert

try it and also how the hell is a avi file only 60 MB ???????????????? is it only 2 minitus long or something???? bye
PS then burn the file ( use b's recorder GOLD for VCDS) bye

I use MyDVD to burn DVDs and it has a "Feature" that if the source material is not up to DVD standard it will convert the source into BEST quality DVD for burning. That means that after a very long time a really big file will be produced. It would be my guess that this is what bit you:)
