i know that this topic has been covered extensively and i have done a LOT of reading on it but still seem to have slow downloads. ok, here is the story
i have a 1.5MB adsl connection and a netcomm modem, i am also running mcafee security centre and firewall and use azureus (the latest version)

i have forwarded the port 6889 through my modem and also tried to do the same with port 50000 (i read that if you put a higher port like that it would work) still after all this the max download speed i get is usally only in the 20kbs range regardless of the time and number of seeds and leachers.

i have tried turning off my firewall while downloading but it seems to make no difference. it is really starting to get to me so any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated.

thanks
