look around the ps2 forums,
there are a bunch of threads that explain burning of ps2 games
i suggest DVD Decrypter or Alcohol 120%
Console: PS2 v7, 8MB Nyko MC, 32MB Max MC, 16MB Gameshark MC, Multitap, Sony Controller, Nyko Controller, AirFlow Controller
Chip: DMS4 E.Z.I. Pro, ToxicOS v0.41, 100GB HDD
Handheld: PSP Firmware v1.5, 32MB MS Pro Duo, 2GB MS Pro Duo
HomeBrew: DevHook v0.46 w/ GUI Mod & USB Mod, Firmware v2.71 Emulated

DVD Decrypter for DVDs and Nero,Alcoholsoft,RecordNow DX and many others for DVDs and CDs. They must be used in conjunction with a mod chip, flip top or slide card with swap magic if you don't already have them.

i use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter to backup my dvds, so u are telling me i can do my ps2 games w/ those 2 programs and get a MODchip for the console

You can't compress, or 'shrink', a ps2 game like that, it will not work. Just use dvd decrpyter.

there is no way to compress a ps2 game to fit if its too large?
i cant find the answer on here yet, but there has to be a way right?

you could rebuild the iso.

how can u rebuild the ISO if the ISO is a DVD9?
you would have to split it into 2 disks
