I have a deaf daughter and did not find out that the Liteon LVW-5005 does not include the closed caption stream when it records. It works fine otherwise, but for her needs it is useless.

Do any other recorders include the CC stream in the recorded show?

Suggestions or a hack for the Liteon would be appreciated.
