Hello I am having problems getting my Bios to detect my dvd burner. My burner is VOM-12E48X. If I go into the CMOS srttings and then go to secondary master I can select auto and then it will show up on the screen but after I exit and save changes the bios says secondary master none. Windows says it is an optical drive. My PC specs are Windows XP, with an Asus A7V600, Award Bios Revision 1008, I just flashed it. I have a AMD Athlon Processor at 2154 mhz. I have a Radon 8500, win tv-go tv turner card, 3com gigabit ethernet, a serial ata hard drive 111gigs and a Maxtor 30gig ide HD, Sound blaster Audigy. I also flashed the drive.
