I have read alot of Forums at this site. And alot of General Feed-Back. Alot Good, Some Bad, Some Confusing.
What do I need to get started on Copying PS2 and also What all do I need to add to my console for my back-ups to work. (Best and Easiest with Most success )
I have read about the Flip- Top with the Magic Disc, seems like this would be a Good Route to Take.
What all do I need with this ?

Also I have DVD decrypter with burner,
anything special I need to do...... Can I do this the same way you would a DVD ?

Thanks for All Your Help.......This site is Great !!!

A General Step by Step would be Great !!
I know there are alot on here all ready, but dont want to skip anything I might need.

If you don't have the new slimline ps2, then i would say the 'fliptop' and SMD v3.3 combo would be your best bet then. Just find out exactly what version ps2 you have and order the cooresponding fliptop. (ex. fliptop v4-7).

Stick with DVD Decrypter. Just do 'Mode>iso>read' to your hdd and then do 'Mode>iso>write' while selecting the .mds file created with the iso. Make sure to burn at 1x or 2x for best results. Also, use quality media such as Verbatim datalife plus, Philips, Fuji, HP, etc.

Note: ps2 consoles version 1-4 normally only take dvd-r. While some v4's Can take +r's too. And all v5 and up can handle either.
