Hi,

What cd ripping software do you use?? Any suggestions would be good,just looking for a small functional program.

Dont forget to get the Lame_enc.dll at the same time -- just below the Download Locations list. And the BladeEnc's MP3 DLL almost at the bottom.

yeah don't waste your time with WMP or any other crap like that. For the best sounding mp3s nothing beast EAC with LAME

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:

Hi,

Thanks for the reply folks.I have been doin a bit of ground work and came upon a prog called CDex!!,looks like
no one is coding anymore but have heard good things all the same.Might try EAC over the weekend with lame.Any imput on the usefullness of CDex with lame would be appreciated ie pros and cons of both progs.

CDex is okay, I used to use it before I switched to EAC. The appearance is almost identical to EAC, but EAC is a much better ripper. definately worth your time to install and setup. use the guide above provided by Jeanc1
