1.)Will a Swap Magic backup work?
2.) Here's the backups I have on my Computer, I'm about to go out and buy some blank Dvd+R or Dvd-R whichever I find. My 2nd question is do I need anything special for these games, I know for the Pal games I need the ntsc patch but is there anything else especially for monster hunters to get it online. Or is there anygame that just doesnt work.

2. Mercenaries needs to be rebuilt to work properly, but since you're illegally downloading it i don't know if that has been done to it or not yet.
Only other one i know is LOTR, which is a normal burn. To play any backup online you need to get the dnas id off of the original, which i doubt you have, and insert it into your iso file.

I do own all the games well my brother and I do but he's going to college and I want a copy of the games he takes.

In response to the next post I downloaded them becuase I couldnt get how to rip them but if you own the game isnt it legal to d/l

Sorry bout the assumptions. But you did d/l them, so i was correct on assuming there.
bah, keep reading more as i go along,
'Ripping' them is much easier than d/l'ing them. Just d/l 'Dvd Decrypter' and put your original in a dvd drive and read it to your hdd. Takes like 10 minutes or so to do, and you know what you're getting will work.

I still sense sarcasm, but you are half right I downloaded the game mainly becuase its easier for me to download and leave it over night then ripping the dvds and my brother keeps saying "you better not mess up my games" So yeah I did download them but I assure you that I own them all. Again I'm new to this whole thing if you own the game its ok to download it right?

I guess it's not as bad as not owning them, but it's pretty much still considered illegal. Either way, this site doesn't condone d/l'ing pirated software. Just don't tell us where you get it, so we don't have to deal with it. No help bringing attention to it here.
There's gotta be a million points of view on this whole subject, but I guess i sort of see it like this:
If you own a small household product and a year or so later you break it or decide that you want a backup for it, could you go back to the store and just take one for free?

I have Swap Magic 3 right now but I'll be getting a modchip soon, any recomendations and also is their any reliable site to order them from? well if I cant get this swap magic down i'll stick with it but it seems like the mod chips are more compatible
