Hi, a hypothetical situation here.

If you received a notice to your computer, telling you that you had just been caught trying to illegaly register a downloaded piece of software, with a serial number which you had found with the software, should you be worried?

Again hypotheticaly, does it matter if you live in the UK, and the software manufacturers are ergistered in the US?

I think it depends if it can access the internet, otherwise how can anybody know that you hypothetically illegaly tried to register a downloaded piece of software?

You could hypothetically run for the border!
