Em.... im having trouble with my cd/dvd drive....

The only information i can get is its ATAPI 8x max cd/dvd drive. I was using it earlier but while trying to get roms of a backup disc it froze. Now the drive wont recognize dvds.... I have reebooted my system and tried diffrennt discs but all the same, it eithr freezes or says "please insert a disc"

I cant find a soklution anywhere and everything i have is on dvd....

Any ideas anyone?

Try going to Device Manager, and delete CD/DVD drive. Reboot, and see if it cures the problem.
