I set this up letting the board automatically detect the drive, I also have a DVD/cdrom rw drive setup the same way. I am running win xp. When I put DVD movie in the drive shows up on the explorer as a DVD-rw; but I put a blank disk (Memorex 8x dvd-r) and is shows a cd drive? I searched and see a post for something similar, but I cannot view it, too new i guess? I hoped to back-up from one to the other.
