PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP !!!

i bought the best of everything, two computers, two burners, two nice multi format dvd players, however, if i burn dvd-r 's using anything above 2x or 4x my dvd players (all three of them) hang or pause with read errors. i tried firmware updates, every software, using dvd 43 in background to un-code the dvds. Remember too i have two seperate computers, seperate configurations. I lOVE roxio 7 so use it most. however tried alchol 120 and Nero 6. Also, for some reason, with the new burners and multspeed sony memorx dvd-r discs, i can only slow burn at 4x, not 2x !!! HELP !!!! deanwysocki@comcast.net

generally the more expensive dvd players are picky regarding media, the cheaper the player the more likely it will play back ups (dont ask me why)

Memorex are not considered good media, try some ritek or verbatim

i can only slow burn at 4x, not 2x ??????????you can burn at 4x?? thats all you want to burn at
