I have recently purchased a microvantage burner that is a rebaged aopen 1608/app. I have tried the only two micro advantage firmwares that I could find (the one that came on it and the newest) and don't like either. I would like to try aopen firmware but when I try to flash it it gives an arror message "sorry, this flash utility cannot update this model". The flash utility is the same but the aopen and microadvantage firmwares have diffrent names. Does anybody know how to extract and flash the firmware using a dos flasher or something along those lines? Any help would be greatlly appreciated!!!
