I'm a newbie, so couldn't reply to existing thread.

I'm also having this problem with my Soundblaster DE card reverting to desktop speakers when I change them to 5.1.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, plus updating at still the same.

Wonder if the Creative Diagnostics agent has something to do with it? Anyone find a solution to it?
