Yes thats the only way... I suppose thats why Dax ZiSo is sometimes the preferred loader.

Dax is great, but once Booster works out the kinks, devhook is going to replace the need for all other loaders.......just a matter of time.

worm335 didn't you read the my post that was in the same page that you posted.
When you need a new fix go to MaxConsole Forums or ps2nfo.com they all ways have the new fixs.

Im not famailar with that game, do yo know the particular prx's you need? If not, try the Street Rider prx's they are golden.

i already tried the street rider prx but it didnt work. the biggest issue is that there is so sound coming up of that game.

well I was right....UMD makes the difirence. I got a game UMD put it inside and now dev hook works fine. So if anyone has problems, they should put in game UMD in....it solved my problem..

Hi all you geniuses I hope one of you can help please.
I can run lots of older ISO's via UMD Emulator and Grand Theft Auto with UMD and MPH Game Loader no problem so got my head around all that!
But I don't seem to be able to run either Tombraider Legends (with fix), Fight Night and Pursuit Force (got first screen then blank) in Devhook 0.41d Launcher. When I try these I get a blank screen and then psp switches itself off.
Here is what I am doing
I go to run firmware updater and it says:
ERROR: Can't find DATA.PSAR in top folder of memory stick or UMD with updater
when I run the firmware installer without a UMD in.
So I assume it needs a UMD so put in Untold Legends Brotherhood UMD press O to start and get scrolling type updating etc etc
says all done with this text at end
211 saved, 0 decrypted, 0 errors
(0x0 bytes left over at end of file)
ms0:/dh/150/flas0/kd/loadexec.prx::p 0decrypted : : expanded:saved
ms0:/dh/150/loadexec.dec : :p 3380decrypted : : expanded:saved
firmware Ver. '1.50' is installed
push 'o' to copy registry from flash1
so press 'o' then . . . I get this
flash1:/registry/system.ireg:can't create ms0: /dh/150/flash1/registery/system.ireg
flash1:/registry/system.dreg:can't create ms0: /dh/150/flash1/registery/system.dreg
Does the above mean a problem, is this why I can't load ISO with all the correct settings (have looked thorugh all threads and know the settings to use etc with DevHook firmware version and 333mhz etcx etc).
Am I using an old UMD which won't let me play more modern games?
I would have thought at least one of the more recnt ISO's would work if not all!!
Can someone out there please explain - it's been dirving me crazy for days!!!

Hi i wanted to ask, when you run the devhook firmware installer do you copy registery from flash1 on both installations, the 2.0 and 2.5 installations? Thanks

yeh it works and all but when i load the 2.5xmb and try using the wifi it doesnt work as i try to connect to my router it says "the attempt to obtain the ip adress timed out". I have got a Japanese psp so is will that package work for sure? Thanks svtstang

u need a prx to swap the prx from the neopets otherwise, the game will freeze when the devhook starts. happy dog and neopets is like the only two games i am having trouble getting it to work. anyway, if anyone knows how to get either one of them to work, please tell me so. cheer to anyone who replies!!!

Thats a good question, Im sure its not a compaibility issue, because I play jap games on my psp all the time. Are you saying you cant make a connection while you are in 2.5 emu? Or are you trying to create a connection on the 2.5 XMB?

When i start up devhook 0.41d it then loads into the 2.5 screeen with the web browser and all. i then went to the infrastructure mode to make a new wifi connection and it detects the router but doesnt make the connection. i have tried everything and i am sick and tired! i have got a strong feeling that i need japaneese eboots for firmware 2.0 and 2.5 to make my psp sucessfully work as the wifi is useless :(

Has anyone gotten Go Sudoku to work? I couldn't get it to work with this loader, and the other loader has ridiculous saving problems, so I'm hoping someone can tell me how to get it to work on DevHook?
