of course you're in the same class, you have more than 1 of each :)
As to the X-Files, good choice & good work. I have all 9 season box sets, made sure to buy each set fairly cheaply as i certainly wouldn't look forward to ripping that many discs, and then have to put each & every disc thru Rebuilder. Phew, good luck to you on that task

Well, if I lose my data... oh well. It doesn't matter too much anyway. If it's important then I have the same data backed up many times of many different DVDs, memory sticks, SD cards, and online.

cincyrob: Yes mine has a Scanner,my R300 Doesn't use as much ink as the 580. Also the ink is cheaper $ wise. I still use the 300, but don't really expect it to last much longer
I figured it was time 4 a new printer as I had printed over 5,000 Discs & labels with the 300. At the time I bought the 580 I had no idea about the lawsuit. Nor what an ink guzzler it was,nor the cartridge prices. Epson cartridges are more then what I paid 4 the printer, so basically I'm stuck with it. Hopefully Cannon will start American distribution soon. I've been waiting 2 yrs for that. There are kits to convert them, but I'm not into that. They seem a little iffy 2 me
But I'm happy with my Refillables Quality is great and cost is WOW, like I said about 3.00 ea..Right now I think the R300s are about 4.00 & the 580,595s are about 7.00,..I still buy the 300s from Meritline & Supermedia when they go on sale with free shipping. Usually the 12 or 18 pk

herrick I did some research and really couldn't find anything about what they code out as. I'll keep looking but I'm betting they are Taiwanese or Chinese. I'd steer clear of the Chinese made discs for now but the Taiwanese made discs should be ok to at least try. :)
As I said I'll keep looking to get something definite on the MID. ;)

Seems like a fair price on the Discs, but the shipping seems a little high to me, 4 a 50Pk (9.50). Plus they charge a fee off 4.95 4 an order under 50.00. My opinion, this puts them out of range. Total being 31.45

These are quite possiblly the worst media I have ever seen. THESE scans actually do them justice. I tried finding the one I did a few weeks ago. Must have deleted it. I believe them to be a product called "Datawrite" I DID NOT BUY THEM THANKFULLY. They were given to me by someone who couldnt use them anymore. Im a die hard TY/Verb fan. The scan I did a few weeks ago I believe were burned at 4x and even worse scans than these at 8x. PI errors Averaging 900 and peaking in the 1000's! I suppose it could simply be a firmware issue. I'll NEVER know. I thought this an interesting tidbit. I cant believe NERO gave it such a high quality score.

:) <----- CD freak
Another interesting tidbit... I STRONGLY recommend when using DVD Rewritable media that you do a full erasure! Verbatim i never had an issue, but these maxell badged riteks...
This one was burned after a Nero Quick Format!
And this one was a Full Erasure. MUCH better. I still wont use DVD-RW anymore. They're slow and finnicky.
