Ah well, at 1024x768 he can probably last a while with it.
As for the sound card it's odd, I can easily tell the difference between my motherboard's integrated sound (which is supposed to be really good) and my USB sound card, which was hardly expensive.

They should all overclock the same, as they are all on foxconn motherboards.

A little over his budget but defiantly a nice card.

It is indeed. You really can't complain about the price though, considering how good value it is compared to the others in the 8800 range.

Wait a couple of weeks, the official MSRP of the cards is 200-250 anyway.

Not the 512MB version though, surely? I'd never consider recommending the 256MB version.

I got a question, I have a Dell Dimension XPS GEN 3 which I just reformatted. I have a SATA II cable in there that I replaced since my original SATA cable broke. I wanted to know if this computer supported SATA II Hard drives. Is there any way you could tell?

IIRC, SATA 2 hard drives are backwards compatible anyway.

No I mean the 512 MB version. I don't know about the 256, although I don't think they would even release a 256MB high-end card.

Nice. You have them very well calibrated in that video, I like it. You also have a longer stay time, not sure whether that's good or bad. Volumes that border on the 'yes or no' line for mine make them flicker very fast.
