I have installed my Viper GC and everything seems to work fine. I can turn it on and the bios loads up. I can play an original game perfectly. If I go into disc explore, I can even explore a backup of my game; however, when I try to boot a disc, after it says wait and then swap disc now, the gamecube restarts, does the gamecube logo and music and then goes to the options screen and my disc stops spinning. Any ideas? I have a version C gamecube and I am useing Office Depot mini dvd-r. Thanks.

Well, I got the problem fixed. I erased the cobra bios from the chip and put GCoS v1.4 on it and now it works great.
