DVDit is dumb cause theres alot of stuff wrong with it. What are some other good authoring tools?

SpruceUp is a very simple Authoring program - it only supports 1 audio/video track and accepts AC3 5.1. ReelDVD, DVDMaestro and Scenarist are good. There's nothing you cant do with Scenarist - the same program that hollywood uses but its a real bitch to learn.

nothing wrong with dvdit. its a very good program for authoring if you know what your doing with it, the main problem i had with it was the gop structures, once i got passed this everything was fine,
currently using completedvd. never had a problem, auto generates the chapters and everything,excellent

I agree with AIDEN - there's nothing wrong with DVDit!. It's a nice authoring program to start out with as it transcodes .wav files to .ac3 (although it's only stereo).
DVDMaestro is a great program if you're fairly new to DVD Authoring.
Scenarist is the BEST! - period

I like DVDit too. Problem was I had ver.LE came with my DVD Ram/R Drive and was great but I couldn't insert chapters with LE. I switched then to Ulead DVD Workshop it does everything DVDit does, plus now the newest ver 1.3 now supports AC3 files now. Check it out at http://www.ulead.com/dws/runme.htm and pick free trial, or try it out if you carefull, and smart you can go full version real cheap.
