iLO DVDR04 Closed Caption Problems

I'm trying to watch a regular comercial DVD using my DVDR04 machine, There are NO closed captions displayed. When I play the same DVD on my other machines - No problem.
On this particular DVD there is no option in the setup for captions. They are just there as long as you tell the TV and player to show them.
In the R04 setup page I have also setup the language page to 'english' for sub-titles. I'm using the A/V outputs although I have tried component outputs with the same bad results.
I have the latest firmware WMEA1098.eso.
Tech support doesn't have any ideas.
