Glitch in video only appeared 1st viewing

I just made a dvd and there was a glitch in the middle of the screen for a split second. I didn't see any more the rest of the dvd. I later rewatched the part that had the glitch several times on multiple players and it never reappeared. Wonder what that was?

Maybe had a fingerprint, dust, or speck on it. I have had discs that glitch on one player and not the other. Perhaps your lens is in need of cleaning.
