I have a new Liteon lvw-5007 with the on screen TV Guide feature..... I get no TV Guide. I have analog Cable and direct tv. I've connected to each of these and no data is present on either. Do you need digital cable??? How does it get the info it needs?

This problem is compounded because I can find no other way to program the recorder. It has instant, one touch recording for 1/2 hour up to 6 hours, but no timer record function that I can find. You have to be there to start it.
