What is the latest Greatest DVD Copy Program? I know there a lot of different epinions on this question. I purchased DVD X Copy Platinum version 3.1.1., last year about August of 2004. At first it was great. Reading in about 8 to 10 minutes and writing in about 7 to 8 minutes. I had installed about a Gig of Ram and my PC was running Win. XP Home edition, with a Athalon Processor at 1.4Ghz., and a 40 gig master HDD and a 160 Gig WD HDD. I started having problems with the PC. It had crashed several times and I had to reinstall X Copy each time.
Finall I broke down and got a HP Pavilion a820n with a P4 running a 3.2Ghz. When I installed my legit version of X Copy. I ran great for a while, just as fast as when I first installed it. I had to do a restore on my PC and I had to reinstall X Copy. This time it started running slower. I tried to repair the installation a couple of times with no success. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again and it just got slower. I noticed it had a bug icon on the program in the ADD and Remove system, so I sent a bug report, I sent a second bug report, still no reply. I sent two emails to the place of purchase and never got any reply. Perhaps someone can tell me if the X Copy software has a counter for the number of times it is installed. It certainly acted like it does. Each time I reinstalled it the program just go slower. Now I am looking to purchase another DVD Copy Program for backing up DVD movies that I purchased. The Program must be able to get around encryption. What is the Best All Around DVD Copy Program Available on the market today with good support and upgrades as they become available. I know someone can help me with this and give me some epinions. Thanks PKUPDRIVR
