Sorry if I'm asking a redundant question, I couldn't find an existing match in the forums.

drive: Pioneer dvr-105 (same as 106 basically)
behavior to date: great with dvd/cd burning & playback of movies & music and cd data disks.

problem: burning dvd data disk (ISO/UDF) - appears to burn data but then drive doesn't see anything on disk after burning. Verify data comes up with errors. Disk properties shows "no space used". When trying to read the dvd data disk, drive icon shows as "CD drive".

Any hints? thanks...
