omg I havent been to AD in almost a year, hello everyone, I was just curious I'm looking for a good usenet connect, something about 1 gig a day download, really I have not preferences other than as little lag as possible, and cheap, yes cheap is good!!! thanx AD glad to be back!!!

If you dont want to get alot of incomplete files then may I suggest......

IMO Newshosting is great value for money. 24 days retension and unlimited downloads for $15. Giganews having a massive 50 days retension.

Also check this link for a massive selection of servers, there are plenty cheap ones here....

Free servers suck. My ISP couldn't pay me to use their server. Like allin, I would definitely suggest giving newshosting a try. Uncapped unlimited downloads for $15 a month. Pretty much the best out there for the price. With a 1.3 mBit internet connection, you could easily download 200+ gigs a month. At least thats what my friend tells me. I only use it for text discussions.

cool Ill have to check that out I have seen those links before, I was just looking for some four + fifth party opinions.

as far as ISP news server, thanks for nothing, if I wanted to do that I might as well google, or worse free servers.
