Which DVD-RW media for my Toshiba?

I have a Toshiba D-KR2. It seems not to like any of the DVD-RW's I tried (Sony and Ritek so far), because it tells me the blank disc is

Does anybody else have this problem, and is there a solution?

And which brands of RW's will work with this machine?
