How bad is eXeems spyware

I am thinking about giving eXeem another try. I stopped using it cause of the spyware thing so how nasty and unsafe is the spyware eXeem installs on your computer? as most of you know I can't do away without it cuase if you don't install it your downloads get capped at 5k/sec
